Andhra Engineering Student Blackmailed With Intimate Photos, 'Raped' By Boyfriend & Friends; 3 Arrested

A 19-year-old engineering student was allegedly raped multiple times by three individuals in Paritala village of Kanchikacherla mandal, NTR district. The victim, a second-year student at a private engineering college, was reportedly deceived by one of the accused who lured her under the pretext of a relationship.

According to police, the victim, who lived in a hostel near her college campus, became acquainted with the main accused through mutual friends. Over time, their friendship grew, and he allegedly proposed marriage to her, which she accepted. Two months ago, the accused took her to his friend’s room in Kanchikacherla, where they got involved in a physical relationship. Unknown to the victim, he recorded obscene photos and videos of her during the encounter.

The accused later shared these visuals with his friends who allegedly used them to blackmail and threaten her. The victim was reportedly subjected to repeated sexual assault under the threat of leaking the photos and videos.

Unable to bear the trauma, the victim approached the Kanchikacherla police and filed a formal complaint. Based on her statement, the police registered a case and detained the three accused: Sheikh Hussain (alias Piss), Prabhu Kumar, and their associate Chintal Prabhu Das, who allegedly aided in the crime.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Tilak confirmed that an investigation is underway and assured that strict legal action will be taken against the accused, as per a report on The New Indian Express. The police are also examining the evidence, including the alleged photos and videos, to build a strong case.

Last year, a baby was sexually assaulted and killed by its relative after being lured with chocolates in Tirupati. The accused reportedly raped the three-year-old child by taking her to a secluded place in a nearby farm. Later, he also strangled and buried the child in the same fields.
