RG Kar Medical College News Today: RG Kar Medical College and Hospital ex-Principal Sandip Ghosh is now in deep trouble as the Kolkata Police has now registered a case against him. This could lead to his arrest amid the ongoing questioning in the Kolkata doctor death case. The Kolkata Police has registered a case against Sandip Ghosh and others under Sections 420 (Cheating) read with Section 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC and Section 7 (Bribery) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
The Kolkata Police is also preparing to send a notice to Sandeep Ghosh for allegedly revealing the identity of the victim girl. According to police sources, the notice will be served on Sandip Ghosh this week. The CBI has already interrogated Sandeep Ghosh for 50 hours in 4 phases in the investigation of the rape-murder of the junior doctor. Sandip Ghosh has been accused of many irregularities and corruption while he was the principal of RG Kar Medical.
The Kolkata Police had earlier sent notices to several social media user for revealing the victim's identity, spreading rumours, and posting unverified information.

RG Kar Victim's Family Demands Arrest
The role of the former RG Kar MCH principal has been under question since the beginning of the RG Kar Medical College incident. The family of the deceased doctor has repeatedly called for his arrest. ABP Ananda quoted the victim's mother, "I don't understand what is going on with the investigation. It's been a week now, but apart from Sanjay Roy, no one has been arrested. We are losing hope with each passing day."
"The principal is being continuously interrogated. But he is not being arrested. We do not understand what the CBI wants to know from him," she said.
Sandip Ghosh is being interrogated by the CBI for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday in the RG Kar Medical College doctor's rape and murder case. Sandip Ghosh's mobile phone call records are also being examined to find out how long he spoke to whom on the day of the incident. The CBI sleuths are also checking if he exchanged text messages.
