Social Activist Parull Mahaajan honoured with 'Shri Shakti Samman'

New Delhi [India], Aug 31 (ANI-NewsVoir): Eminent Social Activist Parull Mahaajan was recently felicitated for her phenomenal contribution in the field of Women Empowerment by Smt. Krishna Raj Central Minister of State for Women and Child Development.

She was honoured with the 'Shri Shakti Samman' for her exemplary contribution to the society at the 'Shri Shakti Parv' organised by Dr. Archika Foundation at the Constitution Club of India recently.

Parull Mahaajan is an Inspiring Lady who wears many hats at the same time. A Lawyer, Interior Designer specialising in green and sustainable designs, Advisor Delhi Literature Festival and Social Activist working actively in the areas of Environment Conservation, Swachh Bharat, Women Empowerment, Supporting and Promoting the interests of Weavers and Artisans and 'Make in India'.

She recently organised an Environment Conclave under Bharat Niti with Ch. Birender Singh Union Minister of Steel and Sh. P. P. Chaudhary Union Minister of Law and Justice and Electronics and Information Technology.

Books-o- Sansad'-2017, A Creative Exhibition of books authored by Members of Parliament - An exhibition of books authored, edited and published by more than 80 MPs named 'Books-o- Sansad' was organized between 3 pm to 8 pm on 2 Aug, in the Constitution Club, located at Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

The exhibition 'Books-o- Sansad,' displayed 80 frames of books authored by 80 MPs , each in a single 2' x 3' frame with the brief of the author and the preface of the book. This was an opportunity for the visitors to learn about the writing skills of literature passionate MPs.

This event was organized in association with Transparency International India by Drishti Creative Productions Pvt. Ltd.' along with Social Activist Parull Mahaajan and Gaurav Gupta. (ANI-NewsVoir)
