New Delhi: Before February begins, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the bank holiday list. Banks will remain closed for a total of 12 days in February. These holidays also include Saturday and Sunday holidays.

In February, there will be holidays across the country on occasions like Basant Panchami, Guru Ravidas Jayanti. Along with this, banks will also remain closed in many states due to their special festivals. In all, banks will remain closed for 12 days in February.  

Bank holidays are different in different states of the country. The month of February this year will be having several holidays on the occasion of many festivals. February 15 - Mohammad Hazrat Ali Birthday/Louis-Nagai-Ni (Bank closed in Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow)
February 16 - Guru Ravidas Jayanti (Banks in Chandigarh to remain closed)
February 18 - Doljatra (Banks in Kolkata to remain closed)
February 19 - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti (Banks in Belapur, Mumbai, Nagpur will remain closed)
