GoAir Weekend Sale: Domestic air carrier GoAir has recently announced an offer for domestic flight tickets at a starting price of Rs 799 under its promotional ‘Weekend Sale’. According to GoAir’s website, the sale kicked off on Monday and will continue till Tuesday. The airline has mentioned that the offer will be applicable on travel between October 1 and October 20, 2018. “Long weekends just got better with great deals! Fly Smart with GoAir at fares starting at ₹799. Also, become a GoStar member and avail Rs 225 off as convenience fee on your next flight. RuPay members can also enjoy 10% off on the next booking on GoAir.” Customers can avail the discounted prices under the sale by booking the tickets in advance. The website also shows a detailed list of air ticket price with flights running out of Bagdogra has the cheapest fare of just Rs 799 followed by Ahmedabad and Jammu at Rs 999. The budget carrier also offers flights out of other cities including Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru etc under its Weekend Sale. The sale is being running under first-come, first serve basis and the special tariff would not be applicable for group or infant bookings. Once the tickets are sold out under the weekend sale, normal rates would be applicable. Even last week, GoAir offered domestic flight tickets at as low as Rs 1,099 under its flash sale as a part of company’s promotion scheme. Under this scheme, passenger booked tickets between September 10 and September 12, 2018 for travel between September 10 and September 30, 2018. Not just GoAir, but several other air carriers including IndiGo, Jet Airways, Air Asia and other rolled out similar discount scheme to lure passengers in the upcoming festive season. Despite relentless hike in ATF or jet fuel prices, several air carriers are coming up with similar schemes as competition in country’s civil aviation market is getting stiff day by day.
