Bank Holidays In November 2022: After banks remained closed for almost 21 days in October, the next month will have around four bank holidays on various occasions. There will be a total of 10 bank holidays in November including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays.
Banks will remain closed for six consecutive days starting today this week. Also, note that some of these holidays are region specific only. You should keep the holidays in mind before planning any bank-related work to avoid any inconvenience. Internet banking services will continue to be operational during these days. ATM service will also be available even on bank holidays.
While some holidays differ depending on whether the particular state observes the occasion, banks remain closed on all public holidays and gazetted holidays.
The Reserve Bank of India-mandated bank holidays are based on three rules — holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act; holiday under the Negotiable Instruments Act and Real-Time Gross Settlement Holiday; and banks’ closing of accounts.

November 1: Kannada rajyotsava/Kut
Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Imphal.
November 8: Guru Nanak Jayanti/Kartika Purnima/Rahas Purnima
Banks will remain closed in Aizwal, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubhaneshwar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, and Hyderabad. Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar.
November: 11 Kanakadasa Jayanthi/Wangala Festival
Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru, Imphal and Shillong.
November 23: Seng Kutsnem
Banks will remain closed in Shillong.
