As monsoons bring in the terror of mosquitoes, businessman Anand Mahindra shared an interesting invention for killing the insect. In a post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the chairperson of Mahindra and Mahindra, shared the video of machine he labelled as the ‘Iron Dome For Home’.
In the post, the business tycoon said, “With dengue on the rise in Mumbai, I’m trying to figure out how to acquire this miniature cannon, invented by a Chinese man, which can seek out & destroy mosquitoes!” The entrepreneur didn’t mention any source of the video in his post.

The post quickly went viral and Netizens showered praises for the inventor for coming up with an effective solution to the insect problem. Notably, dengue cases have been on the rise recently in Mumbai.
One of the user commented on the post and said that China should not be underestimated. "The world doesn't understand that China is no longer a country that just produces cheap knockoffs!," he wrote.
Another individual wrote, "China and it’s people are way ahead of the time..and they are very innovative." While the machine itself earned a lot of praise, the notebook maintained by the person in the video also left many impressed. One of the users said, "Even if not the cannon, I'm interested in getting this logbook that the person has maintained. Just imagine, a couple of civilisation later, this will be such a valuable resource when it is found in excavations. It will tell a lot about our times and issues."
