CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2023 To Showcase International Talent At Gagan Public School, Greater Noida West

Gagan Public School had recently hosted the CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2023, a prestigious event slated from November 23rd to November 26th. Anticipating participation from nearly 2000 students representing not only various states across India but also enthusiasts from Middle Eastern countries such as Doha, Oman, Qatar, UAE, and more, the championship promises to be a grand celebration of skill and sportsmanship.

The championship is scheduled to unfold from November 23rd to November 26th, 2023, at the state-of-the-art Gagan Public School premises in Greater Noida West. A diverse gathering of nearly 2000 participants from different corners of India and the Middle East is expected to compete in this national-level Taekwondo extravaganza.

The opening ceremony on November 23rd, 2023, was graced by the presence of distinguished chief guests, Subedar Uchit Sharma, a 10-time International Medalist with a remarkable list of achievements, including two World Championship Silver Medals and recognition as the Indian Army's Best Sports Person in 2018. Accompanying him will be Neha Kashyap, an 18-time National Medalist, four-time International Medalist, and winner at the One Championship in Singapore.

The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests such as Mr. R.R Khanna, Director of St. Teresa School, Indrapuram; Mr. Raj Kumar, Secretary of U.P. Taekwondo Association; and Mr. Hwang IL Yong, Director of the Press & Cultural Department at the Korean Cultural Centre India, among others.

The festivities was kicked off with the welcoming of participants through energizing performances, including Ganesh Vandana, aerobics, yoga showcases, impressive karate displays, and Jai Ho Jai Bharat. The program was further featured by the national anthem, culturally rich performances, and the recognition of participating countries, setting the stage for the much-anticipated CBSE National Taekwondo Championship 2023.

The presence of the eminent personalities Mr. Gagan Sharma (Chairman,Gagan Group of Institutions),  Mrs. Priya Bharadwaj (Director, Gagan Group of Institutions), and Dr. Rajeev Verma (Principal, Gagan Public School, Greater Noida West) brought infinite support and guidance to all the participants.
