Tata Motors is going full steam ahead and is keen to maintain its EV leadership as it plans a slew of new launches within the next two years. First to come would be the Curvv EV which will also be based on the acti.ev architecture as like the others and that will mean more features including a frunk plus modular interiors.

The first launch is due this festive season with the EV version of the Curvv coming first to be positioned above the Nexon. The Curvv would be the tip of the iceberg though as Tata Motors plans not one but three more EVs above this segment.

While the Curvv EV will come next year, the other big launch would be the Harrier.ev which would be coming before FY 2025 or early next year. We already saw the car in near production version at the Bharat Mobility show and it will also use the Acti.ev platform. Expect more range than the Curvv being bigger and it will also likely get a 60kWh battery pack too which could yield a range of about 500km range.

The Harrier EV is also expected to have the V2V and V2L features along with a frunk as well. It will have a dual motor layout and will be all wheel drive. Design wise, the Harrier EV will get EV specific touches too. Next comes Sierra.ev which will be coming before FY 2026. The Sierra EV will be the flagship SUV and will be placed above the Harrier.

It will be a five door but some of the concept-like touches have been kept too along with the futuristic detailing. The blacked out pillars are a cool touch as well while the lounge like environment would also be maintained. Tata Motors will bring this EV with dual motors and a lot of features including individual seats along with tables etc.
