Maruti Suzuki WagonR Becomes Best Selling Car In India, Second Time In A Row

Maruti Suzuki's family car WagonR has once again received a lot of appreciation from Indian customers. It has become the best selling car in July after June.

Maruti Suzuki's most popular family car - WagonR - has once again proved its dominance over Indian passengers. WagonR has again become the best-selling car in the country. The car model was the most purchased one in India in July. Earlier in June, WagonR had achieved a similar feat. Yet again, the car sold most units, surpassing the best-selling cars like Hyundai Creta.

Units Sold

Maruti Suzuki WagonR sold a total of 22,836 units in July. In June 2021, a total of 19,447 WagonR units were sold. There has been an increase of 3,389 units on a month-to-month basis.  

Comparison With 2020

Compared to July 2020, Maruti Suzuki WagonR sales have increased by nearly 70 percent. In July 2020, a total of 13,513 units were sold.

Price & Features

The price of Maruti Suzuki WagonR (ex-showroom) ranges from Rs 4,80,500 to Rs 6,33,000. The company offers features like a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, manual AC, all four power windows, keyless entry, and steering mounted audio and calling controls with Android Auto and Apple Carplay support in its five-seater car. In addition, safety features include airbags, EBDs with ABS, and rear parking sensors.
