- After the moonrise on the night of Sakat Chauth, fill a silver or brass vessel with water.
- Then add raw cow's milk, rice grains (akshat), and white flowers to it.
- After that, meditate on the moon and offer them arghya (ritual offering of water).
- Pray for the resolution of your difficulties and for the happy life of your offspring.
- Remember not to let the moonlight fall on your feet while offering arghya.
- After offering arghya, conclude your fast.
