In 2023, this significant day falls on November 1st. On Karwa Chauth, married women undertake a nirjala vrat, fasting from dawn until moonrise to pray for the long life of their husbands. They abstain from food and water throughout the day and break their fast after worshipping the moon and offering Arghya. The Chaturthi Tithi commences on October 31 at 9:30 pm and concludes on November 1 at 9:19 pm. The fasting period lasts from 6:33 am to 8:15 pm, with the moonrise scheduled for 8:15 pm on that day.
