The four-day festival of Chhath has begun today and is celebrated with huge pomp and show, mainly in states like Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar and other regions. Women worship Chhathi Maiya and the Sun God during this time. In Vaastu, the Sun God is known as supreme God. It is said that Suryadev is the monarch of all the planets. He is the god who grants prosperity, health, and contentment. Positive energy and happiness are thought to reside in the house  during Chhath Puja. In this article , we will know about some vastu tips that you can use for more happiness and positivity.

Some Vastu Tips For This Chhath Festival (Day 2):

Smita Battla who is an astrology expert from  All India Institute of Occult Science and True Vastu founded by Chairman Gurudev Shrie Kashyap, suggested the following:

 

• Keep your house and surroundings neat and clean

 

In Vastu cleanliness is the first priority. Clean dirt cluster free home and surroundings keeps a person’s  mind ,soul and body healthy.

 

• Keep the windows open for proper ventilation and sunlight(especially in E,NE and SE direction)

 

 Sunlight is the source of life on Earth. According to vastu  North, North-East and South-East directions should get direct sunlight. There should be proper circulation of air and light.

• ·   Decorate your main door with at least one picture of Sun

 The main entrance of your home should be well decorated. According to Vastu, whatever is the direction of your door , the beautiful well decorated door which gives a pleasant feeling while entering the house is auspicious. In Chhath Pooja decorate it with at least one picture of sun

•  Your Kitchen should be neat and clean, cook and eat light food if not keeping fast during the four days of Chhath Puja)

 Kitchen is the main source of your health(food cooks).According to Vastu it should be kept neat ,clean and sunlight should fall in it. In Chhath puja cook and eat light food if not keeping fast during the four days of Chhath Puja

•  Offer water to ‘Surya’ from home only if cannot go to the river

Offer water to Sun and chant Surya mantras

 Some other points to keep in mind

•  Light your house and let sunlight enter as much as possible especially in the East, North-East  and South-East direction.
•  Do good deeds and donate as per your capability
•  Help the people who are fasting
