TDP Manifesto A Hotchpotch Recipe Copied From BJP And Congress: Jagan Slams Chandrababu Naidu

With just 11 months left for the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, political parties have begun to lure voters.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party chief Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday slammed Telugu Desam Party (TDP) supremo and ex-chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu for releasing a manifesto that is "cooked" and taken from the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He also accused the TDP chief of copying schemes and SOPs from other parties and said that the "manifesto was not born in Andhra Pradesh".

"N Chandrababu Naidu's manifesto was not born in Andhra Pradesh. It is a ‘Bisi Bele Bath’ cooked manifesto taken from the two parties, Congress & BJP in the recently concluded elections in Karnataka. He also copied schemes and SOPs from our party such as Amma Vodi and Rythu Bharosa & put them together," Jagan was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

With just 11 months left for the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh, TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday, May 28 -the concluding day of the TDP’s annual conclave “Mahanadu” - announced a slew of freebies and welfare schemes for women, unemployed youth and farmers in TDP's  "mini election manifesto" titled "Bhavishyat ki guarantee". The focus of the first part of the manifesto lies on financial empowerment of women, jobs for youths, and welfare of farmers and socially and economically backward communities.

With this, the TDP  became the first party in Andhra Pradesh to release the manifesto, whose second part would be released later.
