IMD Issues Orange Alert To Three Districts In Telangana, Yellow Alert Sounded In Six Districts
A yellow alert has been issued for the Guntur, Krishna, Nellore and Prakasam districts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad: Due to southwest monsoon and surface periodic troughs, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will receive rains for the next three days, said India Meteorological Department (IMD). The weather department has said that heavy to very heavy rains will occur in Telangana and issued a red alert for the northern districts of Telangana. At the same time, some districts were also issued orange and yellow alerts.
The IMD said that the surface circulation extended to 5.8 km above sea level and turned towards the south over southeast Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The monsoon trough is now moving over Ganganagar, Rohtak, Gwalior, Sidhi, Ambikapur, Sambalpur, Balasore and southeastward to the east-central Bay of Bengal.

The Hyderabad Met Office has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in Telangana for the next three days. The Meteorological Center has issued an orange alert for Rajanna Siricilla, Jagtial, Peddapalli and Karimnagar districts. A yellow warning has been issued to Adilabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli and Mulugu districts.

Yellow Alert For Five Districts In AP
The Amaravati Met Office predicted it would rain in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam for the next three days. Along with Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam districts, moderate rain will be in East Godavari and West Godavari districts. The meteorological department has issued a yellow alert for these five districts.
Amaravati Met Office said light showers would occur in Rayalaseema areas due to surface circulation. A yellow alert has also been issued for the Guntur, Krishna, Nellore and Prakasam districts of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
