Andhra Pradesh Records 10,057 Covid Cases, 8 Deaths
The government has issued orders imposing a night curfew in the state till January 31.
Hyderabad: Covid cases in Andhra Pradesh are increasing by the day. According to the Department of Health, 10,057 fresh Covid cases have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours and eight people succumbed to the deadly virus.
Three people in Visakhapatnam, one each in Chittoor, Guntur, Nellore, Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram, died due to Covid-19. So far a total of 21,24,546 positive cases have been registered. 20,65,089 were discharged. So far 14,522 people have succumbed to the novel coronavirus. Currently, 44,935 patients are undergoing treatment.

The government has issued orders imposing a night curfew in the state till January 31. The night curfew exempted the passengers travelling to Hospitals, Medical shops, Media, Telecommunications, IT services, Electrical Services, Petrol Stations, Central and State Government Employees, Doctors, Medical Staff.
Shopping malls and shops will be fined up to Rs 25,000 if the Covid guidelines are not followed. It stipulates that no more than 200 people can attend ceremonies and activities in public places. Staff and passengers on public transport vehicles, including the RTC, must wear a mask.
The government has ordered that only 100 people be allowed on events held in indoor halls. It was suggested that only 50 per cent capacity should be allowed in theatres.
