Andhra Pradesh: Jawahar Reddy Named CM Jagan's Special Chief Secretary As IAS, IPS Officers Reshuffled
Govt has given additional responsibilities to Shashi Bhushan Kumar as Chief Secretary of Water Resources Department and Rajat Bhargava as Special Principal Secretary of Sports and Youth Affairs Dept
Hyderabad: In a reshuffle of top-level IAS and IPS officers in Andhra Pradesh on Tuesday, the government has appointed senior IAS officer KS Jawahar Reddy as the Special Chief Secretary of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Jawahar Reddy would, however, continue as TTD Executive officer.
In the recent rejig, the government has transferred eight IAS and three IPS officers. Praveen Prakash, who was recently relocated to New Delhi as the Principal Resident Commissioner, will be replaced by Jawahar Reddy. Neerabh Kumar Prasad has been appointed as the Special Principal Secretary of the Forest Department.
The government has also given additional responsibilities to G. Saiprasad as the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration, GSR Vijayakumar as Member Secretary, Pollution Control Board and MT Krishna Babu as Transport Commissioner.
The Andhra government has also given additional responsibilities to Shashi Bhushan Kumar as the Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department and Rajat Bhargava as the Special Principal Secretary of the Sports and Youth Affairs Department. A. Babu has been given full additional responsibilities as the Secretary of the APPSC.
The government has released IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu from the post of APPSC secretary and has issued orders appointing him as the Chief of AP Intelligence.
KV Rajendranath Reddy has been transferred as Anti-Corruption Bureau DG. The government has, however, stated that he will continue with the full additional responsibilities of the AP DGP.
IPS officer Shanka Brata Bagchi has been appointed as the Vigilance Enforcement ADG. He will also hold full additional responsibilities as APSP Battalion ADG.
The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed Kasireddy VRN Reddy as the new police chief. The new DGP replaces Gautam Sawang, who has been directed to report to the General Administration Department for his next posting.
