Andhra Pradesh: CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy To Visit Flood-Hit Districts Of Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa

AP Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy will visit three the flood-hit districts on December 2 and 3.

Hyderabad: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be touring the flood-affected areas in the three districts of Chittoor, Nellore and Kadapa for two days starting Thursday.

Jagan Mohan Reddy was earlier criticised by the Telugu Desam and other Opposition parties for failing to visit flood-hit districts.

The CM had previously conducted an aerial visit of the flood-affected districts, stating that his ground visit would disrupt relief efforts for flood victims.

On Thursday, Jagan will first reach Kadapa and then visit Mandapalle village under Rajampet mandal. From there, he will proceed to Pulapottur village and inspect the houses that suffered severe damage.

Jagan will also pay a visit to the village secretariat in Pulapottur, after which he will travel to Eguva Mandapalle and evaluate the damage. The chief minister will, after that, travel to the Annamayya Project site to evaluate the damage.

He will reach Mandapally at 2.15 pm and conduct a review with the district public representatives and officials on the flood damage and subsequent relief measures.

Jagan will then head towards Renigunta Airport to reach Tirupati, to travel to Renigunta Mandal's Vedalacheruvu ST Colony and Yerpedu Mandal's Papanaidupeta. Jagan will stay in Tirupati for the night.

On Friday, he will visit various colonies in the flood-affected areas of Tirupati city to inspect the damage and interact with victims.

He would see a photo exhibition and engage with authorities at the zilla Parishad headquarters in Nellore city. He would fly to Renigunta airport and return to Vijayawada after the review.
