Andhra Pradesh Cabinet: CM Chandrababu Keeps Law & Order Dept As Pawan Kalyan Named His Deputy, Nara Lokesh Assigned HR & IT

The Deputy Chief Minister Konidala Pawan Kalyan will also handle a slew of portfolios including Panchayati Raj, Rural Development & Rural Water Supply, Environment, Forest, Science & Technology.

The newly-formed National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, has unveiled the allocation of portfolios to its council of ministers on Friday. Pawan Kalyan has also been appointed as the Deputy CM of the state. 

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will personally oversee the Law and Order portfolio. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has been entrusted with the Panchayati Raj, Environment, Forest, and Science & Technology portfolios. Nara Lokesh, a prominent figure within the ruling party, will manage the Human Resource Development (HRD), IT, Electronics & Communication portfolios.

Chandrababu Naidu Congratulates Cabinet Colleagues

After the release of an official announcement, N Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the Deputy CM and his cabinet colleagues. 

Taking to X, Chandrababu Naidu said, "Congratulations to @PawanKalyan Garu on becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. I congratulate all my colleagues in the cabinet on being assigned their portfolios. Together, we have taken a solemn oath to serve the people of Andhra Pradesh and usher in an era of People's Governance. I'm confident that you shall strive to deliver on our people's expectations as Ministers. My best wishes to you all as you embark on this journey of service and devotion."
