Trump condemns Kentucky school shooting
Washington D.C [USA], Jan 25 (ANI): United States President Donald Trump on Wednesday condemned the shooting incident at a Kentucky high school, in which two people were killed and 17 were injured.
The US President wrote on Twitter, "Earlier today, I spoke with @GovMattBevin of Kentucky regarding yesterday's shooting at Marshall County High School. My thoughts and prayers are with Bailey Holt, Preston Cope, their families, and all of the wounded victims who are in recovery. We are with you!
Tuesday's incident was the second shooting incident this week and 11th overall within this month.
The 15-year-old student entered Marshall County High School with a handgun and started firing indiscriminately at the other students.
The suspect, who was not identified, was taken into the juvenile custody in a "nonviolent apprehension", as reported by the New York Times.
The Ellis County district attorney's office has charged the student with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. (ANI)
