The elite are open to life partners outside community: An EliteMatrimony Report

New Delhi [India], June 8 (ANI): EliteMatrimony, the premium matchmaking service for the elite, from BharatMatrimony, has revealed interesting findings on India's rich and the affluent who are looking to find their life partners. This trend is from their existing users, comprising of several thousands.

Studying the demographic patterns of the registered users and their preferences, the data revealed fascinating insights. These findings are given below:

• The top five countries that witnessed maximum number of registrations are from India, United States, UAE, Australia and UK. For elites living in USA, the top 5 places with the highest number of registrations are California, Texas, Washington, New York and New Jersey. Within India the top 5 states are Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

• The user base comprised of 31% female registrants and 69% males.

• 60% of the registrations are by the individuals themselves.

• 6% of the members have studied in top educational institutes including overseas Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, MIT, Cornell, Chicago Booth, Kellogg, Wharton, Dartmouth, NUS, London School of Economics, Oxford, London School of Business, INSEAD and HEC Paris. While within India it was ITS, IIT, IIM, ISB, XLRI, SP Jain, AIIMS, National Law School and Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

• 78% of female users who are seeking a life partner are between the ages of 20 and 29, while 84% of men are in the age group of 25 to 35.

• While 32% of female profiles in India are registered by the women themselves, it's 43% for men. Interestingly, as for those living in US, it is 16% and 15% respectively.

• 29% female users in India and 38% male users in India were looking for partners only in India

While 59% female users in US and 24% male users in US were looking for partners only in US

• 78% Hindi speaking female users were open to looking for a partner speaking other languages, while 59% Hindi speaking male users were open to looking for a partner speaking other languages.

• 40% of the Top 5 communities were open to looking at partners from other communities as well

• The top five languages of registrants are Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam.

• 29% of females and 33% of males have studied abroad.
