The idol for the sanctum sanctorum has been built from Shaligrams, a kind of rare rock, brought from Nepal.

3 sculptors were making the idols of Ram Lalla and the idols made by Arun Yogiraj has been finalised for the consecration ceremony.

About 1000 laborers are engaged in the construction of Ram Mandir. The massive project is being handled by two construction giants — Tata and L&T.

The toral area of the temple premises is 2.7 acres. It will be 360 feet long, 235 feet wide and 161 feet high. It will be three-storeyed and each floor will be 20 feet high.

There will be 12 gates, 5 peaks and pavilions, 366 columns in all floors, in the temple. You'll also see a Hanuman Gadhi Veer Maruti Vishal Pratima there.

The temple premises will also have Shri Ramlala Purakalik Darshan Mandal Janmbhoomi Sangrahalay to display archaeological & historical relic related to Lord Ram's birthplace.

Bharat Prasaad Mandap canopy courts are being built for naivedya/prasaad/bhog (sanctified food offerings) distribution & management and Mata Sita Rasoi Annakshetra will be built as large food shelter for mass feeding.

The temple complex is designed to be 'atmanirbhar' or self-reliant, boasting facilities such as sewage and water treatment plants, a fire brigade post, and a dedicated power line.

The majority of the Ram temple compound is designated as a green area, featuring hundreds of trees, emphasising the commitment to environmental sustainability.
