World Cup 2019: Shikhar Dhawan ruled out of WC with fractured thumb

India star opener Shikhar Dhawan has been ruled out of the World cup 2019 following a thumb injury during the match against defending champions Australia on Sunday. The player has been sent on a 3 week long rest following the thumb injury.

Dhawan didn't take the field due to the injury and Ravindra Jadeja replaced him in the field for the entire game.
