Why Baghdadi's Successor Abdullah Qardash called as 'Professor of Destroyer'
Baghdadi, whose real name was Ibrahim Awwad Ibrahim al-Badri and was born in 1971 in Iraq's Samarra town, had announced setting up of a "Caliphate" in 2014 when his forces captured Iraq's Mosul city. Subsequently, his outfit overran a great swathe of territory in civil war-embroiled Syria. Barely a day after the US troops stormed the compounds of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in northwestern Syria on Sunday prompting him to blow himself along with his family; the terror outfit already has a successor to him.
A former Saddam Hussain army officer named Abdullah Qardash has now taken the terror group's reins, international media reported.
