White sheet of snow covers hilly areas, Delhi-NCR witness rain
Hilly areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand received a fresh bout of snowfall and rains today even as pleasant weather prevailed in plains where temperatures rose marginally.
Maximum rainfall was recorded in Manali (5cm) and Kalpa (4cm) in Himachal Pradesh; Bhaderwah and Pahalgam (4cm) each and Banihal, Quazigund and Konibal (3cm) each in Jammu and Kashmir; Mukteshwar (3cm) in Uttarakhand and Merrut (4cm) in West Uttar Pradesh.
