Supreme Court to pronounce verdict in Triple Talaq case on Tuesday

A five-judge constitution bench of the Supreme Court will on Tuesday pronounce its verdict on a batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity triple talaq in Islam. The apex court is likely to pronounce its judgement at 10:30 am. The bench had reserved its verdict on May 18 on the batch of petitions challenging the constitutional validity of the practices of triple talaq among Muslims, after six-days of marathon hearings.
