Rajnath Singh to perform Shastra Pooja in France, will receive first Rafale

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has left for France. He will be doing Shastra Pooja in Paris and will receive first Rafale jet.
Shastra Puja has been a part of Indian tradition for thousands of years. Rajput warrior king Maharana Pratap used to perform Shastra Puja before going into battle against his enemies. On Vijayadashmi, keeping to the tradition, people still perform Shastra Puja.

The deal of Rafale was signed by India with France in 2015.
