Covid-19: US witnesses over 72,000 cases, 900 deaths in 24 hrs

The United States shattered its daily record for coronavirus infections, reporting more than 72,000 new cases as the number of deaths in a 24-hour period rose by nearly 900. The loss of over 900 lives was the biggest increase since June 10, with Florida, South Carolina and Texas all reporting their biggest one-day spikes. Meanwhile, the total number of cases in USA have crossed 37 lakh mark.
