West Bengal Polls: Dinesh Trivedi offered to contest elections from BJP

Trinamool Congress leader and former railway minister Trivedi announced his resignation from his membership in the Rajya Sabha on Friday citing "violence in West Bengal" and "suffocation". Trivedi made this announcement during the discussion on the budget in the Upper House. It is being reported that Trivedi has been offered to contest elections from BJP.
