UP Elections 2022: Will Kairana decide the fate of Uttar Pradesh?

Ahead of Uttar Pradesh Elections 2022, BJP has entrusted the responsibility of election to Mriganka Singh, daughter of late MP Hukum Singh, while SP and RLD have nominated Nahid Hasan as their candidate. Kairana assembly seat comes in Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, in the 2017 assembly elections, a total of 47.26 percent votes were casted here. In this political contest, Nahid Hasan defeated Mriganka Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 21 thousand 162 votes.
