The Election Commission had banned the rallies till January 15. The commission had said that all parties will have to follow the Covid protocols. Despite this order, the covid protocols were violated openly in Samajawadi Party's virtual rally today where many BJP's rebel leaders joined SP in Akhilesh Yadav's presence.
