In the midst of election fervor, the affairs of Corona have drawn lines of concern. Meanwhile, the Election Commission will hold a meeting on Saturday to decide whether the ban imposed on rallies and road shows to prevent the spread of corona virus should continue.

While announcing the dates for elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Punjab and Manipur on January 8, the Election Commission had announced a ban on rallies, road and bike shows and similar campaigning programs till January 15. The commission had on January 15 extended the ban till January 22.
