PM Modi inaugurates Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel, other infra projects in Jammu | ABP News
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jammu in Palli village in Samba district on Sunday amid a warm welcome. The Indian prime minister is attending the Panchyati Raj Diwas at Samba. PM Modi inaugurated two hydropower projects and laid the foundation stone of the Delhi-Katra Expressway project.
BACKGROUND:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a visit to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir on April 24 to mark National Panchayati Raj Day. On this occasion, he would address all Gram Sabhas throughout the country and also pay a visit to Palli Panchayat in the Samba district.
The Prime Minister will also launch and lay the groundwork for a number of development initiatives in the Union Territory costing around 20,000 crore rupees. He will dedicate the Banihal Qazigund Road Tunnel, which cost over three thousand one hundred crore rupees to build.
