Odisha: School students made to kneel, thrashed by teacher in Keonjhar

Despite a ban on corporal punishments, incidents of students being tortured and beaten up are being reported at regular intervals in several schools in Odisha. In an incident of corporal punishments on school-going children, some kids were forced to kneel down and beaten up by a teacher mercilessly. 

A video of the act has also gone viral. The incident has been reported in Keonjhar district. As per reports, the accused teacher made nearly 15 students kneel down and thrashed them with a cane stick in the school verandah.
