The authorities finally heard the pleas of helpless people in the New Roop Nagar in Jodhpur as tanks and motors finally drain out the clogged water on the streets, and people heave a sigh of relief. Some houses still have their basements waterlogged as they had to deploy motors on their own to drain them out. Army soldiers played a major role in the rescue operations.
