Monsoon 2022 : Flood created an outcry from Mountains to the Plains | Punjab | Uttarakhand
In Himachal Pradesh, there was a heavy landslide due to cloud burst. In the last 24 hours due to heavy rain in the state, 22 people died in landslides, floods and cloudburst incidents, while 6 people went missing. At the same time, 12 people have been injured. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain at different places in Kangra, Chamba, Bilaspur, Sirmaur and Mandi districts. State IMD Deputy Director Bui Lal said, “Moderate to heavy rains will be seen in the next 5 days. Orange alert has been issued for the next 12 hours for the entire state, yellow alert has been issued for the rest of the days till August 24.
