Women, kids stand in long queue for Urea in MP's Khargone
Faced with a shortage of urea, kids and women in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone, were forced to stand in long queues to buy the much essential fertiliser. Urea is one of the most important fertilizer used for farming in the country. Because of its high nitrogen content and available in cheap market prices, farmers are keen to use it during the irrigation.
Department of agriculture has, however, said that it is working to ensure a constant supply of urea.
