Weather Updates: Intense Heatwave Over North, Central India To Subside Soon Likely Get Thunderstorm On This Date

As the national capital witnessed blistering heat on Tuesday with several parts of Delhi sizzling as temperatures soared to around 50 degrees Celsius, there might be a short-term relief ahead for the people in Delhi-NCR on June 1 or June 2. The Vice President of Meteorology And Climate Change at Skymet Weather, told news agency PTI about the possibility of a dust storm or thunderstorm on either Saturday or Sunday. “There is a possibility of a dust storm or thunderstorm on June 1 or June 2, bringing some relief. However, this will be a short-term relief,” he said. According to IMD, most parts of Rajasthan and some parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, some parts of Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh will witness heat wave to severe heatwave conditions on May 29 and 30
