India is currently facing severe natural disasters across several regions. In Kerala's Wayanad, landslides have claimed hundreds of lives. Meanwhile, flash floods in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand have caused widespread landslides, alarming residents and authorities alike. Delhi is also grappling with waterlogging due to heavy rains. The relentless downpours have posed significant challenges across the country. The search operation in the landslide-stricken regions of Wayanad, which was paused at 7 PM yesterday, is scheduled to resume today. The new phase of the operation will target specific areas, including Mundakkai and Samalimattam, as well as the Chaliyar River. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan indicated in a press conference that the mission has entered its final stages. The search teams will continue their intensive efforts to locate any remaining missing individuals and assess the full extent of the damage caused by the landslides.
