Rain in India: Severe distress has struck many Indian states due to a transition from extreme heat to heavy rainfall. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 30 to July 4, 2024. Continuous rain has caused landslides, disrupting road connections in Arunachal Pradesh.
