Union Minister Sadananda Gowda refuses to go into quarantine

Union Minister Sadananda Gowda, who returned to Bengaluru from New Delhi in a flight, refused to go into home quarantine for seven days, as mandated by the state government. Gowda said that he is a minister and can not go to a quarantine centre. Meanwhile, Manoj Tiwari flouted the lockdown norms and attended a cricket event in Haryana's Sonipat. Both the events have raised the question, are strict laws only for the common public and not for ministers and MPs?
