BJP national president J.P. Nadda said, "Today women are being empowered, women are being given strength...Prime Minister Modi says that if a person is empowered then he alone is empowered but if there is women empowerment then the family is empowered. ...Prime Minister Modi says that we are already empowering women but now we have to go one step further - we have to empower women, that is why Prime Minister Modi has launched many programs for women..."
