Troubles Mount for Arvind Kejriwal's Aide Vibhav Kumar as Delhi Police Set to File Chargesheet
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide, Vibhav Kumar, is facing increasing troubles. The Delhi Police is set to file a chargesheet against Vibhav Kumar. The chargesheet, comprising 250 pages, is scheduled to be filed in the Tis Hazari Court on Tuesday, July 16. The police are expected to present the chargesheet in court in the afternoon. Vibhav Kumar is accused of misbehaving with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal at the Chief Minister's official residence. However, the Aam Aadmi Party has denied Swati Maliwal's allegations. The party has accused their own MP of making these allegations to frame Kejriwal during the Lok Sabha elections. AAP has claimed that she was acting under the influence of the BJP. The incident of misconduct with Swati Maliwal came to light on May 13, during the Lok Sabha elections. This occurred a few days after Kejriwal was granted interim bail in the liquor policy case. Swati claims that when she went to meet Kejriwal, she was mistreated.
