T20 World Cup 2024: India Wins The World Cup After 17 Long Years Of Wait | IND Vs SA

India and South Africa played out a final to be remembered for ages, as Rohit Sharma's men win the T20 World Cup 2024. The 'Men in Blue' managed to grab a win out of the jaws of defeat, as they managed to register a 6-run when the Proteas needed 26 off 24. Technically, it was 30 off 30 needed but with Bumrah bowling the 16th over, the 26 off 24 meant that Bumrah would've only 1 over left to bowl. This defence of target in the death overs showed the world the depth in the fast bowling of the Indian department, as Hardik Pandya and Arshdeep Singh nailed in their deliveries to deliver the silverware for India, as they now end their 11-year wait for an ICC title. India join West Indies and England as the multiple winners of the T20 World Cup, and with the win, Rohit Sharma becomes the 7th consecutive skipper to win the toss and the match in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024. After hitting a huge roadblock at the start of the 1st innings, India managed to recover superbly and the 2nd innings was all about the brilliance of India bowling, as they can now celebrate, a 4th World Cup title.
