Arrival of Team India in Delhi: Following a protracted delay brought on by Hurricane Beryl in the Caribbean islands, the T20 World Cup-winning team from Team India has finally touched down in India. Following their victory over South Africa in the T20 World Cup on Saturday, June 29, in Barbados, which put an end to their 11-year world title drought, Rohit Sharma and company arrived in New Delhi early on Thursday, July 4. The entire country was waiting to celebrate the team's historic victory as they arrived in the national capital shortly after they took off on a special Air India chartered flight.
