Srinagar receives First Snowfall of the year

Srinagar has received the first snowfall of the year on Saturday morning. Snowfall started in Jammu and Kashmir on November 17 but Srinagar received its first snowfall today. The thick sheet of snow has covered Srinagar. Snowfall continues in the hilly areas of Kashmir valley.

Heavy snowfall has also occurred in the areas around Kargil and Drass.
