SC refuses direct transfer of PM CARES contributions to disaster fund
An NGO had filed a petition which sought the transfer of contributions made to PM CARES Fund directly to the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF). But today, the Supreme Court has rejected the petition.
The apex court said that the individuals were free to contribute to the NDRF fund without any prohibitions. The three-judge bench headed by Justice Ashok Bhushan ruled the judgment
