PM Relief Fund is now PM CARES Fund After Centre amends Companies Act
The Union government has made amendments in the Companies act and on account of those changes the PM Relief fund is now be christened as PM CARES FUND.
The orders from the government stated that sub-section (1) of section 467 of the Companies Act, 2013 has been amended. PM CARES fund (Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Funds) will now be eligible to receive CSR funding from corporates.
