PM Modi urges to become self-reliant amid troubled times of COVID-19 | Ghanti Bajao
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation and told about lockdown 4.0 but along with it he stressed on the fact that India needed to become self-reliant and ready for any Corona-like situation in future. This is why an economic package of Rs 20 lakh crore was announced which is almost 10 per cent of India's GDP.
PM Modi said, "I announce a special economic package today. This will play an important role in the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan'. The announcements made by the govt over COVID, decisions of RBI and today's package totals to Rs 20 lakh crores. This is 10% of India's GDP."
