PM Modi To Visit Jharkhand, Odisha & Gujarat Today, All You Need To Know About The Schedule
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil seven new Vande Bharat trains for the nation. He will officially launch the Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express at Tatanagar Railway Station in Jamshedpur and will use video conferencing to inaugurate six other trains. Alongside these launches, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stones for several major infrastructure projects, including bypass lines, a coaching depot, track doubling, and subway stations. Anil Kumar Mishra, the General Manager of South Eastern Railway, noted that these new Vande Bharat trains will significantly improve connectivity throughout Jharkhand. The routes will cover Rourkela-Howrah, Howrah-Rourkela, Barhampur-Tatanagar, and Deoghar-Varanasi. The Tatanagar-Patna Vande Bharat Express is set to start its journey at 10:15 AM today, with its regular service beginning at 5:30 AM. PM Modi’s three-day tour will also bring major developments to Gujarat, Jharkhand, and Odisha. On Monday, he will launch India's first 'Vande Metro' between Bhuj and Ahmedabad, and on September 17, he will visit Odisha to lay the foundation for projects worth over ₹3,800 crore. Women are playing a key role in the Vande Bharat initiative, with female pilot Ritik expressing her enthusiasm for operating the new trains, highlighting the empowerment fostered by PM Modi’s initiatives. Additionally, SS Munda, a Vande Bharat train driver from Ranchi, praised the train’s user-friendly design and national pride in the Indian-made Vande Bharat trains.
